Mahattan Beach Ventures LLC Offered to decrease student loans through Obama forgiveness plan California

I was called by this firm to help reduce/get rid of my student loans. I was constantly asked for more info and told it would cost 1340.00. They would decrease them from 230 to 50 dollars. and after 3 years tehy would go away completely. I made payments for a full year and was recieving notices from fedloan for no money owed during that time.

I recieved a notice in October stating I owed money to fedloan so I called and asked what happened they said that I had been put in  forbearance and I had been notified. I asked how and was told by email. I gave them my email address that I have had for 6 years and t was not the correct one. They said this happens alot and I should try and get a hold of the company that did this.

When I do call the phone just keeps ringing or if I get the machine  and eve a message I never get a return call. I called the place I have been sending my money to for the 1340 and they give me the number that just keeps ringing. I am now stuck paying both the loan and the money for the help I am not recieiving. 

Please dont fall for this it is too good to be true.
