On the 21st of Jan. 2004 I recieved an email from a seemingly wonderful company called Mail Processing Services. These studs promised to pay 10.00 dollars for each envelope stuffed and mailed back to them.
They claim that they'll send you the envelopes, circulars and mailing labels (with adresses all ready printed on them). All you have to do is stuff them and pay for postage and this will be reimbursed.
Then automatically you'll recieve another package and your paycheck as well. All costs will be reimbursed to you.
You can choose how many you want to stuff and it ranges from 55,75,95 or 300. You do the math of how much you could make. Naturally this makes you very excited. They claim that the most popular group starts out on the latter or 300 envelope range.
(300x10.00 dollars=3000.00, yippy!!)
They declare that there is just a small processing fee of 160.00 dollars to start up(in the 300 envelope level) and this is for their accountant to set up your account so you can start recieving your 3000.00 dollar paychecks..
Then these evil people say that there is no need to worry because this too is reimbursed after you recieve your first 5 paychecks.
They claim that theirs is the most honest mail business ever. Liars!!!
Then you can also move on to(or get promoted to) the 500 (or $5,000.00) level and so on. "There's no limit to how many envelopes you can stuff" and can work as much or as little as you want. Just let them know!
Ya right!! They are crooks. Don't believe a word that they say and save, legitimately hard earned cash.
I fell for this and sent them 160.00 dollars and didn't hear from them for a couple of days so I thought something wasn't right. I had also emailed them to find out when the package would come and if they took credit cards.
They never responded, so I looked around the net and found out that others had been scammed and hope that others will read this.
Tonight I emptied my bank account and those scumbags won't get a dime. Hopefully you'll be as lucky as me.
We need to get these guys/girls behind bars.

I sent an e-mail to this company about a month ago demanding a full refund. I received an e-mail back stating that my package "obviously got lost" and to "send us a copy of your bank statement showing that you have paid the fee and your money will fully be refunded". To this I responded with a resounding NO that they were not getting my bank statement, for fear that they would try and use that information to get more money from me. Instead I sent them back the confirmation e-mail I received from them. I have since tried to e-mail them and go to their website. My e-mails get returned undeliverable and the website is gone. Can SOMEONE please tell me any other way of getting my money back and the money for everyone else who has been ripped off?!?!?!?!?

Anyone filed a complaint with FTC?

I too was ripped off by this company. I now get the joy of explaining this to my always skeptical fiance who I KNOW is going to give me the dreaded "I TOLD YOU SO". In order to save a LITTLE face I have already filed a complaint with the FTC. You can reach the complaint form by going to www.ftc.gov
They cannot resolve individual issues or get us our money back but they can process the complaint and keep it "on file". I know this may seem like a blow off response, but the more complaints they receive about this company the less they will be able to ignore it and hopefully do something to stop them from ripping off others.
Also, file a complaint with the Attorney General of the State of Florida. You can reach him at www.myfloridalegal.com I urge you all to go there and report this company if you haven't done so already. Every consumer fraud site I have looked at has said that you need to file the complaint in the state the company resides. E-mail Charlie Crist and let him know that this company has to be stopped.
