I have never, nor will I ever, threaten you with physical violence. I have never, nor will I ever, send people to harm you. The only 'thing' I have done to you is write this report. The reason for that was I thought it unfair to the public for your site to be written in a way that the programs were presented as if they were actively taking place and established. I felt that was a misrepresentation of what you had to offer at your rescue. The programs you listed on your site take a huge amount of work, organization, accreditation, specific facilities and resources. Hoping for approval in the future is different than actually having those things in place and established.
I am glad to see you have been making changes on your web site to more realistically reflect what you do. So in that respect writing this report has been a good thing. I have no reason to have any contact with you other than here.
I welcome your lawyers contact. I have done nothing wrong by writing this report. I would do it again if I run into a similar situation because people do need to be accountable when asking for donations.
99% of my art sold to benefit rescues has been sold on eBay thru their Giving Works Program. The rescues are paid thru Mission Fish as a third party. I choose this way of selling the art because I liked the built in accountability. eBay and Mission Fish would not allow me to continue to be in good standing as a seller if I did not direct the money as I advertise it. The other 1% sold to benefit rescues outside of Ebay also has a paper trail and records.

Sue Stiener will be held for libel
AUTHOR: MER - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Monday, December 20, 2010
The person who keeps trying to cause trouble is Sue Steiner who has personally told the group on her Sugarcreek Project to attack any member of Majestic Equine Rescue (MER) on sight. I also have all of the email correspondence she has sent trying to get more information on what we are doing. This is purely a vengeful tactic to get at us. However, there is no disputing we are 100% legit according to theState of Ohio.We are nonprofit in Ohio and yes we will be 501(c)3 as soon as the IRS approves it. However with the IRS that cantake up to 8 months which is also clearly written on the IRS website. In fact our website www.majesticequinerescue.orgsays at the very bottom of the program page:
Quote: :
Spring, Summer, and Fall are:
March 06, 2011 - June 04, 2011
June. 05, 2011 - Sept. 03, 2011
Sept. 04, 2011 Dec. 03, 2011
Dec. 04, 2011 March3, 2012
All programs run for three months @$50.00 + donation of (your choice) feed, hay, or tack/per child/on Saturday
If you have multiple children that would like to participate and cost is an issue, please contact us and payment arrangements can be made.
Location of Programs:

All programs will begin March 2011
Pending Approval from NAHRA
Please call(740) 688-9139 if you any questions.
You can also email us:info@majesticequinerescue.org
unquote: So you can see clearly it is written in black and white for all to see.No fundraising what so ever has been done on these programs. Absolutely none! Zip! Nada!We have applied for several grants so why would I have to ask for donations? The only donations we have received has been horses that where pulled from Sugarcreek and all money that came in went to a rescue, not MER. Go ahead Sue Steiner, you are now going to be sued for libel along with anyonein yourgroup who tries any physical harm towards MER. You are suppose to be an adult, please try acting like one. All of my group has beeninformed if your group tries anything, that they are to call the police andthe person who tries to start anything at Sugarcreek will be going directly to jail. They will also be added to the lawsuit that is currently being drawn up. You will be receivingdocumentation from my attorney. Have a great day!
Just a note for anyone who is dealing with Sue Steiner: Her office is located at
White Horse Studio
324 Cleveland Ave. NW
Canton, Ohio 44702
(330) 957-0204
P.S. I also have had Zero contact from Sue Steiner since her original bogus report. I will be glad to let anyone use my personal computer to check that for yourself. Not one word has been spoken since her original attempt. If anyone would like to see just email me info@majesticequinerescue.org and i will be more than happy to send you every email she has sent us in regards to the Sugarcreek Project where she claims she is going to donate some of the proceeds from her art to rescues. Which is laughable since the person she put in charge of the Sugarcreek project is not a rescue or even affiliated with a rescue.Julie Cooper isa broker that buys/sales/trades horses and some do end up being slaughtered, which is completely against what Majestic Equine Rescue is against. She also stated on her forum that if her paintings didn't sale very well and make a profit. That she would not be giving any money to that rescue, as she had to pay for her materials. It was at that point, that Majestic Equine Rescue stepped out of the picture and ended all relationship with Sue Steiner and the Sugarcreek Project. It is better to stand up for ones beliefs than to allow yourself to be tainted by someone not worth your effort of being associated with. I have the proof of all of these statements as well.

The web site at my latest viewing had written as if they have the following active and ongoing programs:

#1 UPDATE Employee
We just opened our doors 11/05/2010.
AUTHOR: MER - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Friday, December 03, 2010
Majestic Equine Rescue (MER) opened our doors on 11/05/2010. We are brand new and still have many things to do yet. Our EIN# is 27-3864585. We bank at The First National Bank - Wellston (740) 384-2146. Our website is http://www.majesticequinerescue.org/
YES, we are brand new. Every company is new and still continues to work towards there goals. MER is no exception to that rule. We are in negotiations with Doctors, psychologists, NAHRA Instructors. This does not happen over night. It takes months. It was fully explained to Sue Steiner (an artist) who MER was involved in a project called Sugarcreek. That we are in the process of negotiating with the above people and will have everything hashed out by March. Which is when our programs start.
We are not fundraising for ANY programs at this time. Our full concentration for any donations has been to pull horses from Sugarcreek Auction (SC), owned by Leroy Baker in Sugarcreek, OH. Any money is sent to the other rescue groups we are working with to pull horses. Which can easily be verified by calling Laura Greer-Armentrout (330) 414-5289 and Mandae Lewis (740) 579-1990. Who are the two young ladies who have gone to SC on every friday to try to acquire more horses to be saved from slaughter.
In fact on 12/3/10 we pulled 3 horses from Sugarcreek, a TB, Gruella and a QT.
Sue Steiner is mad because all of us where helping her in a project that had not taken off as she planned. The person she had put in charge sales horses is for slaughter, and I am completely against slaughter. So instead of arguing about it, I left the group. Others left as well, due to unforeseen circumstances that had nothing to do with me.
I am not entirely sure how my words volunteered with a Equine Therapy Group in Saratoga, NY became as I ran it. At no point have I ever ran a group like that. My board of Directors would of loved me if I had. But that is not the case at all. I volunteered with a group and absolutely loved the way the kids changed 360% while being with the horses. Which was the main reason to wanting to do a very similar thing right here in Southern Ohio. Because there are many kids who have no outlet for any recreational fun things to do. The kids go from "who cares" to "OMG, we get to go again. I can't wait."
Yes we are new, but that is certainly no crime. Yes, we are still developing projects to obtain all of our goals by March. Yes, we will be ready by March. I have pictures of my facilities. http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h320/deanna12306/Angelalover.jpg (horse)

http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h320/deanna12306/MomsBarn.jpg (Sugar and walk in barn)
As stated previously to Sue Steiner, we are in the process of building a bigger barn with Arena and roundpen. Everything will happen, it is just going to take time. Since we are now officially in winter. But it will get done. You are welcome to come visit any time you want too and take a look around. Any questions please call us (740) 688-9139.
