About a month ago I was looking for a car so I could get back and forth to work and I called a lot of dealerships and got turned down by many also. I didnt have money for a downpayment because I had just started my job. On my third day of work I had recived a call from a man named Charlee.

He told me that he saw that I was looking for a car and that he could hep me out as long as I could get 500 dollars by the end of the week. I told him I could see what I could do and would call him back if everything worked out. By friday I had come up with the money and went to see him later on that evening with my father.

My father and I went too Majestic Motors and we sat down with Charlee and the finance manager and discussed how much I could afford for payments on a car. After about three hours we had made an agreement on a 2007 Chevy Cobalt.

They gave me another week to give them the other half of the downpayment. By the end of that week they had recived there downpayment in full. Three days after I had recived a call from the finance manager telling me that I had to drive back out there so they could put a low jack on my car incase I missed any payments.

I took the car in they put a device in my car and then the device started to beep and in that result the car cut off completly. So I had to take it back to Majestic so the car would fuction normally. By the end of that week I had to return the car again because they said the bank that approved me for the loan on the car said that they would not anymore because the finace manager told them that I put a 1500 dollar downpayment rather than 1000. And when the bank spoke with me I told them the truth.

So they told me that I had to trade in that car to get a 2007 ford focus. When I took in the cobalt they had me wait around for about two and a half hours for a two door 2005 poniac sunfire. Which they didnt tell me about until after the car had got there thats what they were going to give me.

So when I took the car I had notice that there were problems with the car. It wouldnt start on several occasions while I was at work, the tire was flat and there was a crack in the front end of the car. I called Charlee the next day and told him that the car needed to come back because there were things wrong with it.

He told me that he would look into it and that he would take care of everything. Over the weekend I had run into some financal problems and due to the fact that I had just purchased a new car the payments on the car at the time I was not able to afford.

I had called Majestic back and informed them about my stiuation and let them know that I could not afford the car. They told me that they didnt want the car back and I could not return it even though I had only had it for 48 hours.

After calling them contantly they agreed to take the car back two weeks after I had signed for it. I asked them about getting my downpayment back and they told me that noone was there to give it to me. Two weeks after that I had called them and talked to a man named Dontay and he said that I couldnt get anything back because of the millage and damages that I said the car already had I could not get anything back.

I feel your pain...

I went through almost the SAME thing at a dealership called Reb's used cars in North East, MD (Cecil Co).....did you ever get this resolved, and how did you go about it?  I also want my money back....it's a shame that in an economy like this, car dealers are ripping off hard working people like us, when businesses like them are getting bailouts at our expense.

Contact MVA complaint department and your local states attorney general office. Get help cause i am going through the same issues with this business and i had to contact the authorities. cause it is un fair how they take your money and do crooked things.
