I was ripped off by Manay Software. They advertised 2 "free" CDs of software if you paid $4.95 for shipping. What they didn't tell you is that in the 'terms of use', they sneaked in a clause about an automatic subscription after a trial period. The CDs comes after their trial period has ended. The CDs are filled with free garbage files that anyone can find on the web. And free software programs that anyone can find on the web. They present the material as if it is their own work. The wording for the 'offer' is specious.
They may be legally safe, but unethical in their business practices. My credit card was billed for $40 before I received the CDs. And it is impossible to receive a refund. This company is preying on innocent consumers, who work hard for their money. Manay needs to be stopped.
