Mannington Floors - Jamestown Collections is an inferior product High Point North Carolina

This "engineered" flooring is so inferior that even a teaspoon falling on this floor makes a dent. This flooring is so soft that it cannot take any kind of wear and tear at all. Mannington states you cannot wear high heels on this floo. If you do and it makes dents, it is not covered under the warranty. In fact, Mannington will not cover any sort of dents, gouges, scratches, etc. Utterly absurd to expect homeowners to ask guests to remove their shoes before coming into home. Not only ridiculous, but rude. If these were actual hardwood floors, none of this would apply. Anyone living in our complex, who has this same flooring, has all the same complaints. Also, Mannington made us send a sample of extra flooring we had and a copy of our closing documents on our home, only to have them call and leave a message that they tested the sample of our floor(supposedly they did a drop test and everything passed, so our claim was denied). What did they use to drop on the sample....a feather????!!!!!! Also, they must have known they would deny any sort of claim, so we are a little upset that they supposedly needed our closing documents for proof we purchased our home with this flooring. Totally unnecessary that they needed this personal information! Buyer beware....do NOT purchase any Mannington engineered hardwood flooring, especially the Jamestown Collection, as it cannot even take any kind of normal wear and tear and Mannington's warranty is a joke, as they will not cover anything. They have the most inferior product. Laminate flooring, such as Pergo is a far better choice.
