They sent me a the check and want me to go to Wal-Mart and by a $50 item, keep $200 for myself, and send the rest back to them by a money gram from Wal-Mart. Then they want me to fill out a questionnaire survey and fax it to them.

It's a scam! Don't cash the check!
It will bounce and you will be responsible for it!
Tear it up and don't deal with them anymore.

You'll find that check is bogus. If you deposit it, you'll be left holding the bag for the amount of the check plus any fees attached for an NSF deposit.

Do NOT fo this. The check will bounce and you will be out the money for the check AND the overdraft fee, meanwhile, you already sent the money to the scam company (usually an overseas company) and they are living it up thanks to the silly Americans that do this for them.
