Mantra Films or Entertainment Telemarketing to answer survey, offer free movies, then overcharge card! ripoff Santa Monica California

I was called by a rep from Mantra Films in Santa Monica California. She wanted to ask me a few questions for a survey. 3 questions. Last one was: Which type of movies do you prefer. Then she rattled all types of movies very quickly, action, adventure, horror, comedy, drama,... ECT, adult or ALL of the Above.

I replied. "well, all but adult" She said thank you, you have answered our survey. We would like to send you a free gift in appreciation of your cooperation. Do you prefere DVD or VHS. I told her DVD. Ok sir, we will send you 2 free DVD titles at no cost. There is only one obligation. You must pay the shipping and handling fees of $4.99. I said, "$4.99 for both together?" "YES" she replied. I told her I was a little leary of this transaction, but she assured me that the company was legit. She told me the telephone number, the address of the company, years of business. ECT. Very convincing, so I did it.

I gave her my card info. I asked her which movies I would receive, and she told me that the titles will be chosen at random. But she assured me that the titles I would receive would be in the theaters in the next 2 months....and you know the rest of the story.

I was charged not $4.99, but $14.98. This all happened last week, I havent received any movies, but I can only guess that they are the GGW videos. I am sending letter to Attorney General in CA. And maybe one to ARNALD. Maybe he will go in an "Pump dem Up" Comments are welcome
