The 4th of July rolled around and nothing seemed to be happening with the house, but I noticed there were some strange people in this (what seemed to be) very upscale neighborhood. Namely, an african american guy who introduced himself as "dr" Carll. (my kids immediately googled him and found out he was a con artist being sued by 6 different parties in L.A. for fraud). My kids thought it was weird that a "Dr" would not even own a car. Or furniture. He was living with another guy, a hispanic Michael Jackson lookalike, across the street from us in what the title company showed as another foreclosed home. Neither of them had a car, they rode around the neighborhood all day on bikes and were creepy and suspicious as hell. The hispanic guy was constantly on his phone. Then all of a sudden one day, this strange hispanic guy rides his bike up to us and says. "Hi, I'm Manny." I was shocked. I mean, how weird is it that we had lived here for weeks, and this weird guy was riding his bike all over the neighborhood, creeping around and keeping a close eye on everyone, and then, all of a sudden, he finally introduces himself as Manny? This whole situation was getting weirder by the minute.

The next thing we know, Manny shows up at our door at least once a day, demanding changes to our lease, and stating that he didn't approve of the changes we made (small minor things). Then the kicker. I got an $800 water bill. I immediately called the water company, and they told me that the majority of the water was used on June 25-30. WE HADN'T EVEN MOVED IN YET!! I heard reports from the neighbors that Manny had been over at our house (living in it!) until the day we arrived, even AFTER we had turned on our utilities. And obviously, he used the water day and night to "green" up the dead lawn! At this point, I retained an attorney, and quit talking to Manny Sosa altogether. 

We are still living here in this nightmare. The neighbors have moved out. Manny harassed them like crazy and called the police on them for no reason several times. I am not sure what's next, it seems like this sociopath and pathological liar will do anything to get a rise out of people. It seems like he just enjoys creating chaos. I will do WHATEVER I can to make sure NO ONE else gets ripped off by this guy or rents one of his foreclosed homes!! This guy is such a con artist, I cannot wait to get out of here. Thank you for teaching me a valuable lesson Manny Sosa - TRUST NO ONE!
