We were hired by MAPP Construction to build the pool and spa for both LA Fitness projects located in Austin Texas. We completed our portion of the project many months ago and we still have not been paid. Every week I get another excuse from them, with none being anything our company is responsible for. They constantly ask me to provide them with paperwork that I've given them before as well.
They have had multiple project managers on the Austin projects and fired them or they quit. The last project manger, Steven English, will not return my calls now. The CFO, Grif Mckowen, isn't returning my calls now as well, although he is e-mailing me and providing only excuses. We have liens on both projects in Austin and MAPP Constuction doesn't have any, claiming that they "know they will be paid".
I'm not even going to go into all the things that they tried to get us to do that wasn't on the contract but I suggest that anyone that bids on anything from this company mark it up at least another 50% to cover all the extras they'll ask for and to cover yourself so that you can hire an attorney to sue this company to get final payment.
