My boyfriend got a vehicle from Marc's auto on 19/06/09. When it was bought Marc said that the 04 Kia Sorento came with a warranty that was 30 day bumper to bumper but that he sometimes fix problems after 40 days. He though he was getting a great deal but when he brought it home he realized that the E-brake hardly worked and it wouldn't always release and it couldn't hold the vehicle on an incline. He took it back to Marc's who said it was a bit rusty said to leave it alone, took it back after the warranty was over (27/07/09) to get it fixed again and he said that he wouldn't fix it because my boyfriend had missed an appointment for the week before he also tried to say that the warranty was a 50-50 warranty and he wouldn't pay for it all they did was tighten the e-brake cable and when I confronted him about the e-brake not releasing he said it was because he tightened it and it was old and that why it happend when I told him it was like that before he tightened it, he asked me to leave and said he would call the cops if I didn't.... he because I told him that the e-brake wasn't releasing after they did a safety on it? get a grip
