Marcus Decamillo of DEC custom contruction or decamillo masonary or Decamillo waterproofing or whatever other company names he may go by is an scam artist. He has stolen tens of thousands of dollars from many many people. He was recommended to me by his friend who just happened to work for our mortgage company, Wells Fargo.
We hired him to do a total reconstruction project on our new home. TImes were crazy with a new baby who was premature and sick as well as a house in need of major work. Marcus decided to take advantage of this and signed on to do our contruction. I checked references and did my doo dilligence but he is a good scam artist. He started work on my house and did moderatly well in the very begining but soon we were in trouble.
He was rarely here and the work was not great but of course since he started several projects at once it took a while to see any completed work and realize it was so bad. Ultametly our mortgage company sent him another check and he was never seen again. I spent thousands repairing the horrible work he did.
For example, he put in new laminent flooring but did bother to pull all the tile up that was underneath it. The floors all started coming up within months and needed replaced. Also he did such a bad job putting in doors that it was actually snowing my my house through gaps in the seeems. Truly undescribable. Please avoid him at all costs.
He is charming and has an excuse for everything and if you read this and ask him about it he will be sure to have an excuse about it as he always has one when i questioned him. For the sake of yourself and your bank account stay far away. I have talked to over 10 people who have been ripped off by him. He is nothing but bad news.

The gig is up! You know as well as I do that you have scammed too many to count. I am not even the only person on this site to file a report against you. You have stolen money from many many people, me included. Your rebuttal is untrue and you know it. My house was not dirty, I am a clean freak who kept my house clean by choice and neccesity as I had a premie living here. And yes we did live in the house because your work was suppose to be done in 3 weeks and you started very late on the work in addition to taking months to do anything. THe thought that I tried to get money from you to leave my husband is insane, it has been 2 years since we saw you and are still happily married. You even admitted at one point that you owed me a lot of money but of course never followed through in returning the money owed.Nothing was resolved through the bank as you hide from them after I contacted them about the quality of your work! I can provide proof of this.
I gave you every chance to make good on the job and fix your errors, you never did. And in reference to the people you scammed, well how about myself, sarah, several on e-bay, the other report on this site and the many reports filed on other sites, that more than 10! For the sack of us all why don't you get a real job and work for a living? Thats what the rest of us have to do to, expecially after we have lost money from you!

Pretty sad that a person that has many troubles in there life have to take it out on regular working people.
I contracted this job through Wells Fargo bank as a VERIFIED contractor with high recommendations. Please list the "TEN" people you know I cheated.... How about "ONE"?
My client (Amber) purchased a home in Euclid. She was not move into the home until the work was completed. She decided to move in the first day work was about to start. We had to move furniture around from room to room each day. The house was so filthy I could not believe my workers had to move dirty diapers, and cat dropping off the floor in order to work.
My workers begged not to work in the environment she had given us. I contacted the bank over these issues and the bank settled all disputes.
Amber had family problems that she shared with me and was looking for cash so she could get away from her husband.
Nice how you can post stuff on the internet that is not true just because I would not give you money for nothing. I was not willing to cheat her bank.
