PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF HEADACHE AND EMBARASSMENT!
The people working at this dealership are the most dishonest and unprofessional people I have ever met. First off, none of the sales people are knowledgeable about their vehicles, and they don't even know what they have on their lot. When I came in to ask about a vehicle, they told me it was already sold, and I had to point it out to them that it was not, and the salesman stated "oh yeah it's not." duh! I came in and test drove what I believed to be a very nice luxury car, and did a surface level inspection on it. Everything seemed to be fine; however I noticed that it needed a valve cover gasket, as oil had clearly been spewed everywhere prior to me buying the car. I went forth with the purchase and took the car home with a promise that they would repair the valve cover gasket. It is over a month later, and I have not heard from them and they will not return calls. Also, I looked at the car fax and the color of the car says black which is the color it was when I purchased it so no problem right? WRONG? Prior to the dealership obtaining the car, someone had painted the car white so I guess the dealership had the bright idea to repaint the car back to its original color for the sake of matching the car fax, and that is where the real problem began. The next day after getting the car home, I was cleaning the car up and started to apply wax to the exterior, when I noticed that the black paint started excessively chipping away, and noticing there was white paint underneath. This began to get worse and worse as I wiped the car, so I stopped and immediately gave them a call, where they told me to bring it in the next day. Long story short, they sent this car to a hole in the wall paint shop where the paint job could not have been more than $200, and ruined the car. I took the car to have several estimates at reputable body and paint shops where they informed me that this was one of the worst paint jobs that they had ever seen, and said that it would be very expensive to restore. The worst part about it is that their body shop painted over all of the trimmings and did not properly remove them and therefore they were ruined. This car is a CL500, and Mercedes quoted me $4,000 just for trimming alone, and the paint job itself was $6,000. This is a car that was MSRPd at $100,000 6 years ago when it was brand new, and they slapped a $200 paint job on it. They never informed me that the car had been painted initially, nor that they tried to restore the original color with a drive through paint job, and they refused to pitch in with the cost to have the car properly painted and would not even give me a loaner car since I have had to pony up the $10k to get this car back into the shape it should be in. They will not return calls at this point so I have filed suit against them. Even with the financing portion of the car, I caught them in so many lies, and they tried to charge me more than what was advertised for the car. They have very manipulative business practices, and you can never get in touch with anyone. Everyone will tell you a different story, and the dealership is just plain ghetto. One of the "sales managers" even has gold teeth. Please save yourself the hassle and go somewhere reputable. I bought another Mercedes last year from the place directly across the street from them at Select Luxury Cars and my experience was much different. These people are a bunch of idiots and shady used car salesmen.

Look, I know this is most likely one of the pathetic idiots from that dealership, but whoever you are I need for you to mind your own d**n business. Get a hobby and a real job and stop stalking posts from this website. You clearly have a sad and useless life. I will not respond further to trash and someone of such a low caliber.

If you couldn't see the paint flaws, "The worst part about it is that their body shop painted over all of the trimmings and did not properly remove them and therefore they were ruined. "
You must have been blind and/or bought the car in the dark. Dealers are under NO obligation to tell you a car has been painted and YOU should, at least have been able to see a paint job as bad as this one.
If they Ripped you off, YOU certainly co-operated with them in doing so.
Your pseudo reasoning why the illegally ripped you of is just that...jailhouse lawyering.

There is a term used in law called misrepresentation and fraudulent concealment. They misrepresented the condition of the vehicle, and marketed it as a vehicle in excellent condition, which does not meet that criteria if it needs a $10k paint job you moron.
Here is the definition: Deliberate hiding, non-disclosure, or suppression of a material fact or circumstance (which one is legally or morally bound to reveal) with intent to deceive or defraud in a contractual arrangement.
Had I known about the condition of the paint job, I could have made a more informed decision on whether or not I was willing to take on the risk of the added expenses to get the car up to my satisfaction, and/or could have negotiated the price based on the consition of the car. To establish a common law claim for fraud, the victim must show that the dealer omitted or misrepresented material facts, resulting in a financial loss for the victim. To qualify as material, the facts at issue must pass the “but for” test. In other words, but for the omitted or misrepresented facts, the customer would not have purchased the vehicle. This material fact was hidden and therefore there was not a true meeting of the minds seeing that I was not able to make the most informed jusgement call as a consumer. Non-disclosure and lying by omission is also a form of concealment. Please don't respond to things before you are informed. Don't rely on yourhigh school eduation.

You plan on suing these guys because they didn't tell you the car had been repainted??? If the paint job was as bad as you say it is, '$200 paint job' that should have stood out like a sore thumb on the day you bought it. Do me a favor, please let me know when this is going to court. I want to be there when the judge laughs you out of the place. Suing for not telling you the car is a repaint. Now I've heard it all.
