Marilyn Scheer Law Group Scheer Law Group Fly-by-night company who fails to pay for services Internet

Marilyn Scheer Law Group is a customer of ours, they had an account with our company for an ongoing shredding service which we provided. As of September 2010 they stopped paying for the services we provided. We sent past due notices, collection letters, and attempted to contact their office directly via phone. We were unable to do so as they had their phones go straight to a voicemail that claimed "due to inclement weather" they were no longer answering their phones and gave instructions to contact them directly via e-mail. We contacted them via e-mail and were told that we had taken "extreme measures" in trying to resolve the matter.

The company owes us $255.00 which they have not addressed in any correspondence. In addition, their language and tone in the e-mails we have received are unprofessional and accusatory. Apparently, their name is also that of another law firm, who has contacted them on numerous occasions to differentiate themselves and change their name. This law firm also used accusatory and threatening language in an e-mail sent to our company regarding our attempt to reach Marilyn Scheer Law Group who provided their e-mail in error (perhaps they are tired of being associated with the likes of Marilyn Scheer Law Group and their evident disregard for good business practices).

We are pursuing Marilyn Scheer Law Group with due process to collect on a debt owed for services rendered. We have also reported them to the Better Business Bureau. If they treat vendors who service them unprofessionally and with disregard, I can only imagine how they treat their customers.

I would highly advise against doing business with this company, their actions from our experience have proven to be disreputable.
