Mark Four Enterprises, DBA Home Remodelers Group, DBA Sears in New Jersey and in Rockland and Orange Counties in New York, is not the company they say it is.

You will see slick talk about how proud they are of their quality control. If you search this site for sears in New Jersey and for windows and kitchens, you will see that owners Bill Thiede and Marc Leens responses to all complaints about quality is:

"the customer indicated satisfaction with the work by signing a certificate of satisfaction and paying the contractor on completion". Customers' complaints include the comments that they signed and paid only because they were either intimidated by the contractors or because they "just wanted them to leave so they could get the work done right".

Regarding sunrooms, Frank Grieco, the sunroom "Production Manager", told me he "never goes to job sites".

In fact there is no quality control.

#4 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Response to allegations by a former employee

AUTHOR: Marc - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 15, 2006

This is sent by way of response to the above complaint filed on your site under the heading Mark Four Enterprises, Sears, Home Remodelers Group et al:

I have previously addressed Bill's several allegations that he sees fit to post under separate headings (those can be read under the following headings) - Mark Four Enterprises, Inc, Sears, Home Remodelers as well as heading - Mark Four Enterprises, The Home Remodelers Group, Kevin... I will now address this one specifically.

First Bill continues to make false and inaccurate statements. He states that one of the employees of the company is actually an owner. This is not accurate. What is accurate is that the company does pride itself on oustanding customer service and quality - that is the platform that this company has been built upon.

The company policy is very simply this - we take a small deposit and the balance is not due and payable until the work is completed and evidenced by the customers signature on a satisfaction certificate. It is against company policy to ask for said certificate prior to the work being completed.

Bill further goes on to state that another one of our employees never goes out to job sites. Once again this absolutely false - Our production managers are always out in the field and responding to any and all customer issues that may present themselves. We take customer satisfaction very seriously - without satisfied customers - we would not be in business. Are there some instances where a customer may not be 100% satisfied - unfortunately yes - despite what you do - you cannot please everyone all of the time - but one thing is for sure - we will make every attempt within our power to never stop trying to please all.

Thank you
