MarketNShops.com Theft by Deception Winter Park Florida

 On 3 Oct 2016, I sent a money order to marketnshops.com at the physical address given on their website for the purchase of a laptop for my son for the price of $509.99. Before that transaction was concluded, I used my credit card to purchase a second laptop which appeared on the site for $209.99 for myself. On 9 Oct, the site indicated that the computer purchased in the second, credit card transaction had neen shipped and would be reveived ny 20 Oct. As of 27 Oct neither laptop has been delivered. Also, no indication of the status of the first order has been provided at all. In a chat with a Johnson on the companies website I was told that the later computer had been shipped. No info was given as to the first order. I requested to know the USPS shipping number so that I could ascertain the location of the laptop. Johnson said that I would have to pay an additional $50 for that information. Being in investigation mode at that point, I agreed and asked how it was to be paid. Johnson said that he would send a link to my email within10-15 minutes. That link never arrived. Searching the address on Google, I discovered that the building claimed to be the location of marketnshops actually belongs to a company called CopyTronics. This was confirmed by the Winter Park Police Department ((407) 644-1313). I have filed a theft by deception complaint with the DeKalb County Police Department; which has indicated that they will be communicating with the Winter Park Police Department on the matter. I had not checked this site prior to the purchases. I wish that I had and I hope others do. This company is a sham and appears to be stealing money nationwide. Do not buy from them. I can say that, after explaining my delimma to the good folks at Best Buy, they worked out a very good deal on a computer for me and will be helping me with one for my son. As the old adage goes: If it looks to good to be true, it almost invariably is.
