On 11/21/2016 Marlin Brokerage Inc contacted us to ask for help to move 5 loaded trailers from their yard in Carleton, MI to Nogales, AZ and back (round trip) for $30,000. They were desperate for help; we agreed to help them out on Thanksgiving Holiday weekend as long as they pay within 2 days after each load delivery. This was included in the contract and form we filled out with their package and the recorded phone conversations we have with their dispatch.
All 5 loads were picked up and delivered on time without issue. As of 12/28/2016 we have not received payment and we are not getting answers from anyone at Marlin. They are avoiding our phone calls and giving us the run around. The owner, Franklin G Ray started the brokerage in 11/14/2016, for some reason he thinks he is going to stay in business with this kind of behavior. We found out the freight belonged to JB Hunt booked under the Marlin Transport Inc MC # 368326 with insurance coverage 500 mile radius only through Progressive. Using the insurance he is running all over the country and even brokered the load to us under Marlin Brokerage Inc MC # 993902 without JB Hunt’s knowledge. In addition Franklin G Ray back solicited our drivers after saving him on the holiday weekend.
To everyone out there, don’t waste your money and time to try and do business with these people, they will not pay and will back stab you. Please make sure this does not happen to you, being in the business for over 30 years our reputation means a lot to us, we just don’t understand how other people think when trying to run a crooked business like that.

I also am an ex employee and I have the proof he wasn't paying taxes or unemployment taxes.

As a former employee he forced us to use our own money to pay for fuel in the company trucks. He failed to pay state and federal taxes failed to pay court ordered support on his employee. Which on many occasions he received suspension orders from child support. He is one of the biggest jokes ever. He's been in federal prison for embezzlement and is facing these charges again I surely hope his family can live off is RAMEN NOODLES

Ray's Transport double booked Marlin Brokerage loads without our knowledge. This is a Federal regulation that was violated. This case is in legal litigitation. Ray's Transport has consitantly tried to create bad reviews through out various internet sites. Ray's Transport has and continues to make false statements in regards to Marlin Transport and Marlin brokerage that are blatent lies. The fact of the matter is the only people not playing well with other is Ray's Transport.
