Marlo Furniture, Maryland Wont stand behind the warranty they sell Forestville, Maryland

I gave them 1 star, because there wasnt an option for 0. I purchased a couch on 11/17 09. Knowing that there was only a 1 year warranty, I purchased the 5 year extended warranty (and their sales person pushed it). On 9/14/11 the reclining handle broke. Called the warranty and they say its not covered. This company is not run by marlo, but they push it. I know parts fail; however its how the company fixes the situation that matters. When I called marlo they say its between you and the warranty company, so basically I paid $1767.68 for furniture that can not be used for the manufactures intended purpose. When you pay good money for something, it fails in less than 2 years and they dont want to stand behind it that tells me they dont want my business again. BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT PURCHASE THE WARRANTY. ITS NOT HONNERED.
