Marquita Johnson Delli team leader (Goshen, IN) store I reported to her that the night crew was not changing salad bowls or sanitizer at all and she told my fellow team members that I was a snitch. They repeated things I told her. Goshen, Indiana

I worked in the Delli in the Goshen, IN. Store. I Quit on 02/19/11 because my team leader Marqueta Johnson told my fellow team members I was a snitch. 

 I closed with her one night because of a blizard we were short handed. I was train prevously that I was to  cover the salads at night after checking the dates on the bottom of each bowl. She told me that the bowls were suppose to be changed every night at closing.

 I opened with her Tuesday morning 6am 02/15/11 and she noticed the bowls were not changed. I told her that they never get changed. I asked her to keep it confintal since they were a very close group and I was new and an outsider. I also was told the sanatizer was suppose to be changed. They never change them all day long. They break so many of the rules like wearing hoop ear rings, put their sweaters under the cabnet in the delli, etc. They do not clean like they should.

 I came in Friday and at the end of my shift was confronted by a team member (Pam)  that said Ms Johnson told her what I had said and the she labled me as a snitch. She repeated a lot of what I had said so I know she said it.

 I did inform the manager Scott before I left Friday and he stated he would handle it and would put a stop to it right now. He also said that I was not a snitch for telling my team leader about the bowl. I trust he will try to handle it but I know the team will treat me bad and it will be rumored I am a snitch/trouble maker. I thought it would be best for me to not return.
