Marsha Johns is an osteopathic physician who has floated around from various public clinics, small emergency rooms, and even prisons for over the past 20 years. Past charges of patient abuse and neglect suggest she could have been moving from state to state to avoid action by either the AMA or potential lawsuits. Apparently the state medical boards frequently cut deals with doctors that they will not take action if the doctor agrees to leave the state. Her last known whereabouts were working at a federal prison in Nevada, where it seems she was no longer welcome after denying necessary medical treatment to an inmate with a potentially fatal heart condition.
It is unlikely that anyone would welcome this dangerous (IMO) woman into private practice ever again. She would probably be found at some public health clinic, or possibly another prison. Nevertheless, I feel that she is dangerous enough that all potential patients/victims should be warned.

It is of some comfort to find this post now over 20 years after an abusive and violent encounter with this "doctor" in an emergency room setting. That as well as the at least five other lawsuits that have since been filed against her in Nevada. It seems karma has caught up with her and now most of her work comes from the Nevada prison system. On the other hand, it is terrifying to know that people like her can ever become licensed and then continue harming others for decades to come.

she inflicts pain and suffering upon people she disapproves of for unknown personal reasons wihtout any medical evidence. she has spent decades being chased around from state to state so she could evade her abusive past. PLEASE make it stop in nevada! she has never been a doctor, just a mentally ill old woman looking for preofessional credibility she will NEVER FIND. if you are foolish enough to fall into her lifelong pattern of abuse, just document everything and contact the police immediately, yes the POLICE. her intentions are criminal not civil !

God I wish I had googled her name and found this several years ago. This person is no doctor at all. She is a glorified nurse who happened to stumble her way through osteopathic medical school-- not a real MD medical school. She was the nastiest person I ever worked along side of. She shouldn't be allowed to treat anything but sore throats and sprained ankles at a walk-in clinic-- if even that. But if her past negligence is catching up to her the way I suspect it is, she probably isn't even licensed anymore.
To anyone reading .... I urge you to google and research your doctors anyway you can!! You never know what an ugly past they might have!

That b*tch Marsha Johns destoyed my life too. She is incompetent, abusive, and I would even suggest sadistic. I do not understand her motives for being a physician, because she is the most inhumane medical practitioner I could ever begin to imagine. I would think she was in it for the money, but someone with such a sketchy past and only a second hand degree from a second rate osteopathic med school should know that money and prestige will not follow.
I would urge anyone who encounters her to run away as fast as possible. You'd be much better off treating yourself. She does not uphold the first rule of the hypocratic oath (or any others for that matter) "DO NO HARM to your patient."
