Marshall's Auto Parts, Inc. has the most horrible customer service I've ever experienced from a used auto parts business. We have a used car dealership so I buy from places like this frequently. They are rude and no respect for their customers.

On Nov. 10, 2009, I contacted Marshall's Auto Parts, Inc. looking for a transmission for a 1994 Ford Ranger. They told me that they did, in fact, have one and quoted me the price of $300.00. I was told that they would have it out ready and waiting for me to pick up on the following day.

On Nov. 11, 2009, I sent one of my employees to pick up the part for me. After a tank of gas and more than an hour drive, he arrived to find that they did not have the transmission ready to go as promised. After sitting and waiting for 4 hours, he was sent away with a transmission for a 1998 Ford Ranger which I was charged $600.00 for.

On Nov. 12, 2009, I called Marshall's Auto Parts, Inc. to inform them of the mistake. The guy I spoke with on the phone informed that it "wasn't their fault", and that I was stuck with the WRONG transmission. After arguing with him, and waiting for him to speak with his manager, he did finally agree to exchange it for the right one, but that I would be charged a $50.00 re-stock fee...for THEIR mistake.

This man was incredibly rude on the phone. While I was in their office waiting for my refund, I heard 2 other unhappy customers complaining about similar experiences. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone! There are so many other salvage yards in the area that actually treat their customers with respect and will work with you if a problem should arise.
