Please Beware of the Personal Assistant Scam on CareerBuilder or any other Job Search Boards online.  I received a letter of instructions regarding the enclosed check in the amount of $3650.45 to go directly to my bank and deposit the check ASAP.  Once the cash became available I was instructed to take $500 for myself as 1st weeks pay and an additional $50 for petty cash for the office then for the remainder balance $3100.45 proceed to the nearest MONEYPAK Prepaid Card shop (usually found in WALMART, CVS PHARMACY, RITE-AID PHARMACY, K-MART, RAPID-RELOAD, SAFEWAY etc.) to purchase reload cards.  Once the cards were purchased I was instructed to then kindly send the 14 digit number to the Art work seller at the noted email address in the letter.  As soon as the work seller gets the numbers she can mail the packages to you and you can have them in 2 working days.

Balance to send: $3100.45

THE MONEYPAK Prepaid cards will be used to make payment for painting shopping.

RED FLAGS: mispelled words and choppy sentences throughout the letter.  Address of the credit union on check was incorrect after doing internet search.  Routing number on check was wrong.
