martin guitar sold bad product, misrepresented product nazareth pennsylvania

DON'T BELEAVE THE HYPE!  Just because it says Martin on the headstock, it doesn't necessary mean your getting a good guitar.  I have bought two martin guitars in the past with very bad results.  I ended up sending both of them back. the last one my daughter bought for me for my birthday, a martin 000C special edition.

I could not fine anybody at martin or musicians friend that could tell me what was so special about this guitar.  it sounded very dull and the strings buzzed regardless of what brand of strings I put on it or adjustments I made.  called martin and they sent me to their martin technician.  he appeared to be a burned out hippy with a hoarding problem, who never quite made it back from Woodstock. 

At any rate he could not fix the buzzing. next I spent my own money (120.00) to have guitar center look at it.  Gave them a shot at it on two different occasions, they could not fix it.  I called musicians friend/guitar center. and complained about the guitar not having a built-in tuner as advertised.  their solution was to send me a cheap clip on tuner. 

I called martin (spoke to Lesley) after I explained all of the problems I was having with their product.  she offered to send me a martin tee shirt.  REALLY! after all i've been through with this guitar and she expects me to advertise martin for them.  there doesn't seem any bounds to the  arrogance of this company.  LET THE BUYER BEWARE!
