Martins Appliance TV & Furniture ripoff refuse to give refund from layaway when the store is going out of business Struthers Ohio

I put a stove and ref. in layaway. On the first of Feburary I went to pay on my layaway and I noticed that all the appliances were missing from the store. I asked what going on?

I was told that the store was remodeling. I then paid on my layaway.

A few days after that I received a phone call informing me that the owner of the store would no longer be dealing with any appliances and they were selling all the appliances and were going into the mattress business.

I then asked for my refund and the lady told me to finish paying the balance and they would order the stove and ref. them selves. I told her that they broke the contract and I wanted my refund. She then told me to pay $150 for March and $150 for April and then they would order my appliances. I told them I want my money!

On Feburary 21, 2005 I read in the news paper that the store was closing after 25 yrs. I want my refund and I will shop elsewhere. I don't need them to fail me again.
