For years I have been trying to understand why they have not closed this wreck of a stables down. I know he has been fined and warned, he must be paying one or several of the "good ol boys" off.
There are witnesses of him sliting goats throats and while they are still alive hanging them upside down until they die. this is also done in front of whoever is on the property at the time including children. Have you ever heard the screams of dying ,in pain animals?
This stable is right on our busy highway 70 east from raleigh going to the beach. It has many of horses standing near the road with no shelter, hay with mold on it, bones showing on all horses.
I went up to the stables 1 time to get a closer look and was appaled, horses standing in crap up to there fetlocks, the tin roofs are very dangerous because they have fallen, wood falling apart. horses and cows could easily get legs, head stuck between.
I have personly seen them standing in thunder storms, snow, 100 degree weather with NO shelter. I've even seen foals in those conditions.
I have been tempted to buy a few but i dont want to support him. I have called everyone i know to call, even have a friend who owns a tack shop/stables try to buy him out . He wont sell. what do i do ????You would have to see this place with your own eyes to understand how bad!

Were i live cows dont hame to have shelter but you better have shelter for your horse. If you dont animal control will be taking the animals, well they will give you time to build it but if it not done they will take them. There are so many people out there that would take care of the horses I am one of them have the love to give and the time but not the money to buy and still be able to feed and stable it. They need to do something about the misstreatment of these animals it is so wrong.Hope they nail him to the barn door low enough the horses can kick him!

I am so tired of hearing how people treat animals.
I just can't understand what makes some people so sick to do this sort of thing. Animals have no say so in anything and its horrible.
I just wanted to know if anything was ever done to this man.
