Here is where I found out this company was false and luckily found this out before I flew from PA to Boston to "interview" with this company.

I found this job on hotjobs.com and thought hey, it says DREAM JOB, I like the entertainment business and it said starting salary was in the low $40,000. I applied for the job on their personal website which required you to fill out a form stating your name, address, phone number, email address, the position you'd like, the location you'd like to work at, and where you heard about their company.

Two days later I heard back form an Estella Summers who said she heard I was interested in the company and that she would like me to submit my resume. So I did. I didn't hear back from her until Friday when she said (I saved the emails):

"Its Estella at Marvel Models, I received your resume you sent me the other day. I passed your resume to Edward our Office Director in our Boston location and he would like me to schedule an interview with you at our Boston office.

We can see you at 10am on June 8th, which falls on a Tuesday. You will be meeting with several members of our Boston staff and getting a complete overview of the company, so plan on being in the office until 2pm.

I apologize for giving you what might be a considered short notice but we are filling the position immediately and this is the only time I currently have available.

Please reply directly to this email confirming the time so I can know to expect you. I have your phone number, so if I need to get a hold of you prior to then I will call you.

The address to our Boston office is located below:

Marvel Models
109 Highland Ave
Needham, MA 02194

If you are not familiar with the area and need driving directions, I recommend using Map Quest.

I look forward to meeting you. The dress code is professional attire.

Please take a few minutes to visit our website at www.marvelmodels.com before the interview to familiarize yourself with the company."

I was excited, asked my parents if it would be okay, and then emailed Estella back to tell her I'd be going and to please give me a good hotel to stay at because I'm flying in from PA. I never received an email back. Thinking because it was a Friday I went ahead on Saturday emailed her again, then continued to make a hotel reservation and purchase my plane ticket. I still received no email from Estella. Sunday arrived and I told everyone about this great job opportunity. I would be flying out on Monday morning and then would stay until Tuesday night. Everyone was excited for me, everything seemed to be going well.

Still no response from Estella.

I found this odd. I mean if a company wants you, don't they make sure to answer your emails? My aunt was helping me with this and told me to google the company to find out the information they told me to. When I had gone onto their website, all I could do was see the intro on the homepage, you had to fill out all this information in order to view things futher.

When I googled them, the only thing that came up was this site, nothing on Marvel Models, no key words came up, nothing.

Upon reading another response on here I also looked up the Maloof brothers, who supposedly own Marvel Models, and they have absolutely nothing on this company. I also emailed them to ask them if they knew anything about this company, if they really did have something to do with them, and if they knew they were supposed to be owners of this company.

Also, I called this company and the voice mail woman sounds suspiously like Estella Summers and Adrianna Jo Val.

Don't fall for this scam. It will save you all of the emotional and mental strain I am going through now. (Like getting my money back from the hotel and plane ticket.)

Don't you think that a legit company who received an email from someone who was going to show up at a meeting and didn't would receive an email OR a phone call asking as to why they didn't show up? I received neither from Marvel Models.

I also contacted hotjobs.com, gave them the link to this website, and faxed them the two emails I received from Marvel Models.

I hope no one else falls for this scam.
