Mary Jane Elliott, PC ,Midland Credit Management - Collection Agency and Midland Funding - Junk debt Buyer has sued and garnished consumers wages without proper notification or verification of debt. I have recently (2/19/2010) bee Novi, Michigan

The office of the Mary Jane Elliott has called me,wrote to me and now today, I got a letter from a court in Chelsea Michigan telling me I did not show for a court date that I did not know I had. 

Many times, I have told this person and her co-workers that the charge card account was paid off over one year ago and now I am told I was not at a court date that I did not know that I had.

Something is wrong here and Chelsea Michigan he not even where I live, it is a good way from my home and I do not even drive to get this surprise in the mail.

I would contact the FTC, the Attorney General and the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission.  Most importantly, I would file an Objection to Garnishment and Notice of Hearing with the court that issued the writ of garnishment. You can contact the garnishee to get this information, if they haven't already sent it to you.  It's too bad there are Attorneys out here that practice fraudulently.  I suppose if enough people file formal complaints against this Attorney, action will be taken and she will discontinue these fraudulent practices.  But remember, a formal complaint/lawsuit is necessary to recoup any funds illegally taken.  Don't stop with this internet complaint.  Look into ALL available LEGAL recourses that are available to you.  May the "CHIEF JUSTICE" Jesus Christ, be with you.
