Mary Kay Inc. Talked my 19 year old to use her college scholorship money to buy stock without her parents knowledge Addison Texas

 At age 18 my daughter was signed up by a Mary Kay Consultant and the Mary Kay Consultant talked her into using her college scholorship money to buy stock. The consultant had the party in my home.  During the party, I never heard her speak of any money needed other than 100 dollars to sign up.    A few days later, we had many Mary Kay boxes on the front porch that had been shipped to our home.  I then asked my daughter about the inventory and how did she pay for this.  She told me that she had used her College Scholorship Money.   She said that the Mary Kay Consultant promised her that she would double her money back and have it to use for her college.   

I am a single mother,  so the scholorship money was very important and needed to help send my daughter to college.  I asked my daughter how could this be legal?  She said that the Mary Kay Consultant said it was as long as she was the age of 18.  I figured that was the truth and decided that we had better try to sell this inventory as fast as we could in order to get the money back to help pay her college.  I got busy helping her sale.

Once she became a Mary Kay Consultant, I have watched my child change into a person who worrys 24/7.  She is not enjoying the best days of her life.  She is a perfectionest and I feel that the head lady over her region caught on to that. She blows her phone up all day.  She reminds her of the goals that she has to meet to become a director, or to get a car.  My daughter meets the amount of sales to become a director.  She has been told that she would bring home 5500 dollars a month.  She has never made half that amount.  At first by the speach that the regional lady gave to her, I started to think,  well maybe it will pay off until I see a letter that she did not know I found stating that she will no longer be a director if she does not meet the sales mark at the end of the month. Becoming a director takes many hours and money to invest.  They say the investment is worth it, Thats not true. If you do not meet your amount of sales two months straight, your no longer a director. 

My daughter now is having panic attacts,  she listens to these videos over and over again that the regional Mary Kay lady recorded of herself and sent to  her.  I almost feel like she is being brain washed.  My daughter even mention to me about dropping out of school where she only has half a year to have a 4 year Accounting Degree in order to have more time to meet the goals of Mary Kay. 

My daughter graduated 3rd in her class and has a 4.0 average in college.  I wonder how she can be so smart and yet get snowed by this company,  If I had it to go back and do over again.  I would never have allowed a Mary Kay Party in my home.
