I have shopped Matilda Mouse several times.  I met the owner Marla and her sales gal Belinda.  In May 2017  to view items early.  I wanted to buy an arbor with seats built into it.  They could not/would not hold and told me to come next day at opening.  I did.  However, there was already a sold sign on the arbor.

I was told it was on a 2 hour hold policy.  No deposit had been given and the woman had gone out for coffee.  Sounded like she was still making up her mind.

I shopped.
The woman did not return.  Sales person Belinda said it is now available for sale.  I asked how much was delivery  Belinda said she did not know whe would check with owner Marla.  I waited.  Marla not available.  Sales people very protective of Marla as she was going through some very stressful personal issues.

As I am 20 minutes away I told sales girl I will pay for item and wait for you to call me with delivery fee.  She looked at arbor marked 299 Oh know thats not the right price it is  399.   I paid her in cash .   I never got a phone call regarding delivery fee.  Finally after calling and calling I reached Belinda and she told me delivery was $125.  I told her that is too much for the short distance and on top of raising price from ticketed price a hundered dollars.  I declinded to purchase the item and told her I needed a refund.e  She needed to talk to Marla.

This went on for weeks.  Meanwhile my mother with alzheimers was going down hill.  I was dealing with doctors and trying to get her into a nursing home as I was getting to the point I could not manage her anymore --she had lived with me for 6 years.

Still no contact with owner --my only connection Belinda.

My mother died in August.  We were relocated out of state.  I called and called and got no response.  Called Belinda no response.

Finally Belinda texts me and says property sold, new owners coming in.  Nothing since.

Now I am trying to contact new owners Mr Mrs Myers.  Meanwhile I am out 399.00 plus tax.  I have no idea what happened to the arbor.

Hopefully the shop called the lady who wanted it in the first place --if she wanted to pay 100.00 more than the price marked on the item plus an exhorbitant delivery fee.

Frustrated
