Matt Rusin, SilverScreen Musician Fraudulent Song Mixing Charges Austin Texas

I have been on Matt's email list for sometime for Music Licensing related programs he sells (which I've not purchased to date).  He contacted me stating he is getting into professional mixing.  His sell was on quick turnaround, pro mixing and mastering starting at $150 per song. I have some older songs I've been wanting to have professionally mixed so I said yes.

Matt is a likeable guy on the phone.  I paid funds up front.  From there, it became a nightmare.  Days, turned into weeks, weeks turned into months.  I sent many emails and texts and even called to get a status of my song or get a refund with no response whatsoever. 

I initiated a credit card chargeback and lo and behold I receive an email from him apologizing for the delay and "here's your song mix".  The mix was HORRIBLE.  Balances were horribly off - Vocals way louder than rhythm and even the end of the song fade was actually cut off mid-way through the fade! I emailed to express my disappointment and ask for a refund.  Matt has now gone silent and is apparently fighting my credit card refund request. 

I really thought I could trust Matt, but all he has demonstrated is a complete lack of integrity and professionalism.  My recommendation is too steer clear of this man because I doubt he just does this with his mixing business.  Someone either has integrity or they don't.  It's not a partime thing.  I could never a treat a client the way he treated me.  I will continue fighting for my refund in the meantime.
