WARNING!! Poor Quality!! Do not purchase the Monster High dolls! I didn't notice any other reports on the MATTEL inc. My Monster High dolls so I guess I'm the first.
Christmas 2010 & after my (mature, non destructive) 9 year old daughter received Monster High Dolls each as a gift, FIVE to be exact. THREE (Lagoona Blue, Frankie Stein, Clawdeen Wolf) out of the five broke shortly after she started to play with them, to be exact about the parts that broke, THE HANDS &/or FOREARMS all in the jointed areas. Now the dolls are mainly kept in a clear plastic bin & playtime is minimal for fear the remaining two dolls (Draculaura & Gloom beach Draculaura) may break.
We were not aware that the monster high dolls were FOR DISPLAY ONLY!
