In addition to his massive advertising campaign, Lesko and other publishers feed the growing government-grant industry by selling the names, and
addresses of people who buy these books. While many of these list buyers are legitimate firms, at least two grant scams have been identified as a purchaser of Lesko customer lists. Telemarketers who guarantee grants are
also buying customer lists from the publishers of grant guides.

After purchasing his book, Matthew Lesko and Information USA sold my name/address/telephone number to a marketing list without my consent. I ordered the book online and read the fine print very carefully as I always do when ordering anything online and never did I consent to my information being shared with 3rd parties. Ever since ordering this book, I have been getting constant telemarketing calls and unsolicited letters from shady companies and individuals in the mail trying to scam me out of money.

The ripoff part:

Information USA refuses to stand by their 90 day money back guarantee. I returned Leskos book because the information in it was useless, outdated, and none of it remotely applied to me.

I had shipped it back via UPS with delivery confirmation and a copy of the original sales slip and the reason I was returning the book. That was 4 months ago and I still havent heard a reply, I tried calling the 800 number to contact them but the number just plays a message.

Matthew Lesko and Information USA are con artists, plain and simple. I'm posting this message on ripoffreport.com in hopes of stopping other people from falling victim to them. Anyone wanting to help other people from getting ripped off from Lesko, Please link to this report from your website so it gets cached high up on the list on Google etc.
