Matthews Used Car Dealership Complaint - Sells cars with invalid titles Morro Bay California

I went to purchase a used 2005 Toyota Corolla from Matthews Used Car Dealership. The used car salesman, Mike Brown, appeared to be trustworthy but he deceived me and managed to rip me off. He told me that he would be able to give me a much better deal if I paid in cash. After I paid over $5,000 cash for the car, he provided me with a car title that I later discovered was invalid. After taking the car title for the used 2005 Toyota Corolla to the BMV, I was surprised to find out that the car title did not match up with the corresponding VIN #. The car title was for a different Toyota Corolla that had been wrecked/salvaged and no longer existed. After confronting the used car salesman and demanding that he refund my money, he said that there was no proof of the sale. I was clearly taken advantage of and scammed.
