Maui Villa Rentals Tried to rent me a vacation property they don't manage. Asked for money to be wire transferred Kihei Hawaii

Hello, I wanted to report a scam company. They are called Maui Villa Rentals. They asked me to wire transfer cash within 3 days to secure a rental property I wanted to rent in May 2018! They wanted the entire amount including a damage deposit of $500.00 plus a cleaning fee. ALL paid within 3 days of booking the room for a vacation 10 mos from now! Who does that?! The only way you can find them is by the website.

I didn't get scammed but they tried to scam me. I knew better to wire transfer cash to a stranger but some may not stop and think about it before they do it. The website looks very professional and they even have a phone # and address. But the phone # is busy all day and night, early morning etc. ALWAYS BUSY! And the address is a Safeway parking lot and no office for them there! These people almost ruined our trip! Maui is a beautiful place and no one should arrive in paradise only to find out they were scammed! Please do something about these people! Stop them. Arrest them for fraud because that is what this is. They were trying to rent me a property they don't own or manage. SCAMMERS! Check out the website for yourself. Try to secure a property and see what happens... No one should ever wire transfer money to anyone you haven't validated as legit. Just because they have a website and pictures of houses doesn't mean anything. If you Google search their name, this business name is no where to be found. I don't even know how I got onto the site to tell you the truth. They need to be stopped. Anyone else that experiences this should share their story so we can stop them. I hate scammers. They are the lowlife losers of our society! Buyer beware!
