On dec 7th 2009 I received a solicitation call from Maximum Security Alarm Inc to my home wanting to sell me an alarm service for our home. I told them that we were happy with Protection One, however I would be opening a store in Fair Oaks, CA in Jan or Feb 2010 and would be more then happy to get a quote from them. The guy then said he would have a sales rep call me back shortly. A sales rep by the name of Patrick G called me back that day and we set an appointment for the following day. On Dec 8th I met with Patrick @ the store site and he discussed my options. He advised me that there would be a 3yr contract involved and I told him I wasn't going into a 3yr contract and I've been offered a 1yr contract for 29.99 from a competitor. He then said no problem I can offer you the same deal with 1 month free. He left the store and said he would return the following day with the contract. On Dec 9th I received a call from Maximum Security stating the installer would be @ the store on Dec 10th with all the paper work. The installer came and installed an alarmed system and once he was done gave me a contract to sign that was different from my discussion with the sales rep Patrick. I gave a check for $50 for the sheriff dept and rejected the 3yr contract that had a different agreement then what we had discussed. I finally received a call from monitronics (alarm monitoring service) in Aug 2010 doing a survey and then and only then I found out that a 3yr contract was signed in my name. Clear cut forgery and trying to simulate my signature. What they didn't know is that I'm left handed. I filed a forgery report w/PD and Consumer Affairs which licenses these crooks. Also looking into a possible lawsuit. Beware of this company!

After further consideration, I would like to state for the record that I, Mr. Johnson, was able to amicably come to a more than satisfactory resolution with Mr. Higgins the owner of Maximum Security in regards to my account and my contract with maximum Security. they have handled the situation internally to the best of their abilities, and I am convinced now that they are a reputable company, that unfortunately just had 1 bad apple working for them. That employee is no longer working for the company and Maximum Security has taken the necessary steps to ensure that i am completely satified with the oucome of this matter, which I am. I wish only the best for Maximum Security and want everyone to know that Maximum Security swiftly responded to my claims and were able to rectify the situation and they handled the situation to the best of their abiltiies. Thank you for your understanding.

After further consideration, I would like to state for the record that I, Mr.Charles Johnson, was able to amicably come to a more than satisfactory resolution with Mr. Higgins the owner of Maximum Security in regards to my account and my contract with maximum Security. they have handled the situation internally to the best of their abilities, and I am convinced now that they are a reputable company, that unfortunately just had 1 bad apple working for them. That employee is no longer working for the company and Maximum Security has taken the necessary steps to ensure that i am completely satified with the oucome of this matter, which I am. I wish only the best for Maximum Security and want everyone to know that Maximum Security swiftly responded to my claims and were able to rectify the situation and they handled the situation to the best of their abiltiies.
