Received a Privacy message by U.S. mail from May National Bank of Ohio claiming that they extend credit for Foley's and its other affiliated stores.
In order to request that no personal financial information of mine be released to third parties, they are requesting my Foley's number, full name, address, home phone, & daytime telephone be sent to them by mail. An alternative offered is to call 1-888-717-4128 to make this request.
If they are a legitimatly affiliated with Foley's they should have my account number and not be requesting it be sent by mail to them. The 888 number is a recording and ask for your account number as well. It does not give you the option of speaking with a representative.
This appears to be a scam. If this was ligitimate they would already know my account number and all I would have to do is mark yes or no to whether I want my financial information shared.
