We bought the Maytag SAV2655AWW top loading washer and have only had it 2 -2 1/2 years. It has worked good until now its loud spinning made me check and I find water leaking on the floor not to much. I thought it was the hose but realized it was leaking from the bottom. It has gotten worse and I have noticed I am not the only person with this problem. I think its ridiculous Maytag would sell crap like this and is not recalling this item when they know this problem exists.

hello I am the former owner of a maytag home appliance center and that style of washer is why i am a former owner.they was aware of their flaw in 2003 every washer with the model starting with sav did the same thing over and over they came out with new seal kits but non worked but they just went on selling a product that they knew was bad. the only odd thing about yours is that it lasted as long as it did. most of them go out every year . I wish justice could be handed down on maytag /whirlpool for the thousands of people that were riped off and the small store owners that went broke as they did not sell these models to the big stores (lucky us)
