A little more than a year ago a vendor that I knew and had worked with before told me that I could pay her via GreenZap because I was having problems with my PayPal account. I opened an account and paid my vendor.

After that I started having problems. Received an email from GreenZap telling me about their Partner Program, thanking me for signing up (I never did) and telling me that they have already withdrawn $100 from my account and there were plans to withdraw another $100 the next day and other mumbling about more withdrawals over the next couple of months.

I had several email interactions with Damon Westmoreland regarding the withdrawal, (with him insisting I signed up for the program), and ended up going to my bank to fill out charge dispute paperwork.

Later on, after I had asked for my account to be closed, I found several charges of about $20 each on my account over a couple of months. Each time, (because I was on unemployment at the time), it caused an overdraft and cost me double the amount he was withdrawing. I filed charge dispute paperwork (again) with my bank and contacted GreenZap after checking to see if my account had been closed per my earlier request. It had not. GreenZap insisted (once again) that I did not ask for my account to be closed and denied any of the charges.

Today I was checking on my bank account and found some checks that I didn't remember writing. Opening up the checks to see who it was for, I found three charges for a company named Mazumah. I called the customer service number listed and it was not in service. I checked the website and there was ONLY a place to report a problem with a recent transaction. Nothing else.

I looked up the owner of the website and it was under a proxy (meaning there was no name attached and the information was private). I then did some google searching and found several postings connecting Mazumah and GreenZap.

I intend on filing any paperwork/complaints that I can and would be interested in participating in any class action suits that might be pending/opened.
