In the summer of 2006 JoAnne MacKinnon - MB Horse Finders, was contacted by our farm to transport a horse from our farm to Alberta. She was planning a trip to Alberta to exchange her two horse trailer for a larger trailer and was looking for a couple horses to transport. She needed to make decisions quickly and to facilitate the shippment we made arrangements for the buyer to pay MB Horse Finders cash on delivery for both the horse and the shipping. The buyer has receipts for both. JoAnne in turn, was supposed to forward the $1400 for the horse back to the farm. She did not and has since stopped communicating with me. Her phone and email is disconnected and her she does not answer the messages left on her cell phone. Since this transaction, I have found out that I am not the only person who is owed money. I cannot speak for them, but I am still trying to get in contact with JoAnne so as to settle out of court. I am prepared to take her to small claims court.

I was finally able to contact JoAnn and all debts have been paid. JoAnne was facing adverse personal circustances beyond her control, however, we have come to reconcilliation and all is well. JoAnn was and is a good friend.

Hello,
I am the lady who reported JoAnne MacKinnon last year pertaining to the purchase of two horses from a farmer for whom she sold horses, that I never received. You probably read my report.
JoAnne has provided me with proof that she paid the farmer and it was the farmer who was the one who kept my money and the horses, not JoAnne.
Since that time, JoAnne and I have become good friends and talked all the time on the phone. There are some things that have happened about which you probably are not aware. I do know that JoAnne is an honest business woman who would be eager to settle any problem she has with your situation. I can fill you in on what has been happening. I do not want to give my private information out on this public forum and do not know how to contact you, either by email or by phone.
Perhaps the owners of this website would be willing to privately give you my email address as it is on file with this website. I'm willing to help you in some way.
