MBF Leasing scam corporation Burr Ridge Illinois

I'm a small business owner. I signed an uncancellable contract with MBF Leasing. I was deceived by a sale rep. and that sale rep. turned my trust into his own advantage as well as MBF.

After a about 1 and half into the contract, I realised I was paying too much money of the equipment that I leased from MBF which is the the check reading machine. It costs $59.00 every month. I called the MBF to cancel the lease, they said i couldn't because the lease is uncancellable unless I wanted to buy out the lease which is $2000.00. Of course, anybody knows that it is a complete rip off for just a check reading machine. So I did not buy out the lease.

I felt sort of betrayed by the sale rep. as well as the MBF. Every contract has an option whether it is 2,3,4,or 5 years. There should not such "uncalcellable contract" even exist.

Anyway, I cancelled my bank account. They kept calling me and calling me. They started sending letters after letters. Now, MBF gets the point where they authorize their attorney to sue me the "unpaid balance".

I know for sure that I will sue them back because they have violated the Texas deceptive Trade Practices Act. I was misleading into signing an uncancellable contract.

If they take any steps to collect what they say I owe, which I think they did, I will pursue my right under the DTPA and counterclaim for damages, punitive damages and attorneys fee.

Finally, I warn all the good, honest and trusting forks out there, stay away from MBF Leasing, LLC. This corportion is scamming people. DO NOT BE ANOTHER VICTIM. Stay away from MBF Leasing LLC
