I visited the company website to learn more about them.
There are several things they claimed that are not true
1) they say they received a "Green Business Award" from the Ile de France Business Association. When I searched I could find no such group. When I contacted them, someone wrote me back and provided a link. That link took me to an organization of French language instructors. huh? As far as I can tell, there is no Ile de France Business Association, and I cannot get any other information.
2) They did have a logo for the BBB on their website. When I contacted the BBB, they confirmed that MBS is not a member. The logo was taken down soon after
3) They feature logos for the SGIA and ARE - both industry specific groups. I contacted those groups and found that this company is not a member of either one. When I asked the MBS rep, she told me that they are under a different name - HTM Lighting dba MBS Standoffs. I checked that name and confirmed that they are not registered under either entity.
While they may not 'rip off' customers, they certainly misrepresent themselvs and lie about things that are easily verified. I will not do business with an unethical company.

I'm unclear as to why you would post on Ripoff Report when you didn't get ripped off? Why did you visit their site in the first place to learn more about them? Maybe you are working for a competitor and just posting negative information? Becuase you were not able to verify some things that means it isn't true? Are you a professional investigator or did you just do a Google search and it wasn't on the first page? It is very unusual for someone to just randomly pick a company website and pick things apart and then post about them on the Internet. What is the point of this???
