MC Electronics World Corp Miguel A Caraballo Took payment but never delivered product. Kissimmee Florida

Miguel A Caraballo (407-910-7138, angelriper@live.com) arrived in a silver Hyundai he claimed was a rental because he did not want to put wear and tear on his car. He showed an exclusive distributor website from which he was supposedly getting his products (smartphones and iPads), took cash payments in full for 7 16GB iPad Minis July 27 and 29, e-mailed receipts via Square app, and promised delivery in a couple days. He said within a couple hours he would e-mail a copy of his invoice showing the serial numbers of the iPads being shipped to our address.

When they were supposed to have arrived, he claimed they were backordered and kept changing the expected ship date. He claimed his fiancee was injured in a car wreck as one reason for delays in responding. He promised to deliver part of the order August 3, claiming he was getting some from another client to hold me over until my order arrived. When he was supposed to be here and I was trying to reach him, he finally texted back that he was 3 hours away getting the iPads and would be here later. He claimed his phone screen was going off. He never showed.

Tuesday, August 6, he left a message from a blocked number early in the morning before we opened. He claimed he was having personal issues and did not have access to his phone. He promised the order would be shipped out no later than Wednesday, August 7, with delivery by Thursday, August 8. They never arrived, and he never responded again.

A call to the company's Google Voice number (347-674-0362) August 8 was returned August 14 via text message from someone claiming not to be Miguel. The texts claimed I had not paid, that the person had the iPads there (3, not 7 we ordered), that we needed to email the receipts to his lawyer (barrdavereyes@lawyer.com), and that we would have to re-send the payment via Western Union because "Miguel has not accounted for anything like that."
