McEvers Lawn Care & Landscape Doug McEvers Customer Service Clueless and Arrogant Scottsdale, Arizona

One month ago I contacted Service Majic to find a professional lawn care company and was referred to Doug McEvers. On the first visit he looked over my property, made suggestions, quoted a price and assured me the tasks at hand would not be difficult or expensive. I accepted his price and he began that week. Mr McEvers did not do any of the things that he suggested but instead, during last week's visit, instructed me on how to do the things I needed to have done, including fixing drip lines and painting tree bark.

I contacted him several times during the past month regarding the over-watering of my yard, which had been almost flooded every morning since he started. When I did reach him, which wasn't often because he doesn't return calls, emails, or text messages, he instructed me to find the leak myself and pinch off the line until he returned. Each and every time I had contact with Mr McEvers in the past month he was curt and condescending and always rushing to end the conversation. On his second visit he left my gate open and my dog ran out. If I had not come home shortly after he and his crew left, I would have lost a beloved pet. Still I was willing to give him a second chance.

Just yesterday I had another lawn care company visit to see if I could replace McEvers because my yard was still flooding every morning. The new company found that my irrigation system was set to run for over 2 HOURS. Mr Doug McEvers has no business being in business. He has no concept of customer service whatsoever. Not only would I never recommend him, I would warn people not to even waste your time contacting him, he doesn't respond anyway.
