I was looking for a used vehicle with a carfax report in the range of $6000 to $1000 on the internet and came upon the mcgrath hyundai website and found a car at $8000 with only 50000 miles. A steal, I thought so to, so the next day I figured I would go test drive this vehicle and see whether or not I would be interested in purchasing the vehicle. As an avid user of the internet I looked up reviews of this dealership and found that this wasn't a good dealership to go to and to watch out for this Kissy Freeman character. I was skeptical due to the fact every now and then reviews online are biased, so I figured I would make my own judgement. (Foreshadowing to come).

The minute I stepped into the dealership I knew I was in for a bad time. The woman who take care of me was a shady car dealer named Kissy Freeman. At first I thought she was an eccentric character, a little wierd but who am I to judge as long as she can sell me a car in a professional manner. Obviously, she wasn't professional at all. I told her of the car I was looking for and even before she would look up the car to see if it was even on the lot, she began discussing payment which blew my mind. I couldn't believe she had the nerve to start negotiating without me seeing the car. Throughout this process she would talk to herself while on the computer, as if asking rhetorical questions to her self, quite odd. I told her let me see the car first and then we'll begin. After sometime of her dragging me around the lot to finding the vehicle and then heading back to the office to search through her comp again, she ends up asking a manager where the vehicle was. He told her that it was in detail and wouldn't be back for three days. I was perplexed, as even with a immaculate wash it should only take one day. She told me I could put a $200 deposit down to hold the car and see it when it would arrive, I came on friday and said I would be able to see the car on monday. I told her that a check would be written to hold to see the vehicle but to not be deposited and the original check be returned if I did not like the vehicle. She said okay and even wrote it down on my receipt as I told her too.

I came back on Monday over the weekend and after much thinking did not feel comfortable with this vehicle. I figure go back see the car, say no, ask for the check back and then leave. On my way there "Kissy' called me saying the car wouldn't be back for another four days. Now I was even more annoyed and bewildered, even if I really wanted to buy this vehicle, I couldn't cause it was still in "detail" i.e. probably car crash and they were fixing it up. I get there and tell her I want my check back and she says she deposited the check and their finance department would have to send me a check or I would have to return back the next day, now I was annoyed as they were giving me the run around. I for sure now knew that I would never come here again and never recommend this dealership. I then asked for the manager, his name is BRUNO, and he said the same thing although I told him that I specifically told to not deposit my check as I am not even buying this car yet. He just kept belittling me and told that they would send the reimbursed check when they get it. I didn't believe that at all and told them I would be calling their finance department and come back tomorrow.

Looking back reviews online of this dealership were true, very unprofessional. I also stopped the check with my bank and they waived all fees. So they never got my money.

DON'T EVER GO TO MCGRATH HYUNDAI AND NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH KISSY FREEMAN AND THE HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT AT THIS DEALERSHIP. THEY SCAM, CHEAT, AND LIE TO EVERYONE!!!
