My original cell phone account was opened in August of 2000 and cancelled upon completion in early September of 2001. Total payments were made by early January 2002. I'm still receiving bills for payments through 2/9/02. Several visits to local office in Manhattan have not remedied the situation. Calls to the 800 254-8991 number never get through. Why they put the number on the bills I don't know, it's a disgrace. What in hell is the matter with these people. The Worldcom Wireless service I would never offer to anyone. This company should have been put out of business a long time ago.
