I was a supplier for McKee basements and he is a dishonest individual.
I have had to send lien letters to several customers and I found out that the work to be done by Brain was not complete and he was giving them the run around too. I tried for months to collect money from him, but always got a different story every time (I keep notes on all collection calls). He would tell me (and homeowners) to call Laura in the office; problem is there is no evidence of Laura. I called and emailed her dozens of times and only one response by email (easily could have been Brian Shook). Furthermore, I went to his business location that he gave us and that location appeared to be empty. Two of the individuals whom received lien letters are currently filing law suits again Brian Shook & McKee Basements!
Don’t do business with the person or company. Angie’s List has removed him from their providers.
