Mckenzie Scott, Mckenzie / Scott Partners waste of time and money, tells you what you want to hear, puts themselves in drivers seat, goes nowhere blaming you Denver Colorado

I wish I had found this site earlier. I have not looked for a job in almost 10 years and was apprehensive about my job search.

I was lured to McKenzie Scott by suggestions using them I would have access to the "hidden job market" and be able to rely on their expertise in career guidance, resume writing, etc.

I expected a relationship with a team who would aggressively work with me. Instead what little feedback I got was feedback from companies (confused about Colorado post marks on my letters among others). I also expected help with interviewing and negotiating.

It turns out their expertise is about trial and error and you doing the majority of the work and paying exhorbantely for the privilege.

In the 6th week of my campaign my marketing director suddenly left the company, which coincided with my rising concern about the complete lack of action from my campaign. A new and "more seasoned" marketing director was assigned to me and she immediately suggested we redo my resume and cover letters. Unfortunately that was the only immediate action besides taking my money. Everything else is hurry up and wait situation.

Bottom line is if you have $7500 to blow on resume writing and postage, don't mind being treated like just another account, and have months of money to see you thru until your next job this is the company to handle your next career change.

All this may sound like sour grapes of an unsatisfied customer but consider this. Why would a reputable company make you sign an agreement not to reveal the nature of the agreement, services and clients? I submit its fancy lawyer subterfuge to shield McKenzie Scott. It makes sense that McKenzie Scott maintains your confidentiality but not allows you to speak negatively or positively does not unless there is something to hide.

My advice is to search for a local solution that does not have the negative feedback McKenzie Scott does.
