I wrote a report in March of 2002 informing people of McLand Marketing Group. 169.00 was debited from my credit union account in Febuary for a 2500.00 Visa card.
I got a package from McLand Marketing with an application to apply for a Visa card and a bunch of other useless material. Two weeks ago I informed my credit union of the scam. Even though I had missed the 30 day deadline for reporting this scam, my credit union reviewed my history with them and decided to return my money.
I just wanted to let people know that even if you have missed the window of reporting your theft, there still may be help out there.
I learn a lesson and I will never again give out any information regarding my personal business. I did call McLand and left a nice message for Marion Peeks. What I really would like to do is to have someone kick his a*s.
