When I was employed I was told I would be a trainee solicitor.

Nothing was further from the truth I found I was expected to act a nothing more that a tele sales mainly fending off complaints , from suppliers , contractors and after sales complaints for Eyecare International.

I was horrified by what I was being asked to do, lie outright , deploy evasive delaying tactics, and give everyone the run around when dealing with complaints.

I knew nothing about the history of the company when I started, HR gave me the spiel about fast tracking, but after a very short time I realized that apart from a very small

band of people who surrounded Mr. Gershfield everyone else was disposable at the drop of a hat.

I have never worked in a building with such a high turnover of staff recruitment had a revolving door policy. The few short months I spent there was a real eye opener.

Dubious business practices were widely used every day as per normal.

No one seemed to have the same job for more than a week at a time , constantly moving around the building it was a wonder anything got done.

Mr. Gershfield had a volcanic temper and I saw him reduce many people to tears, his assistant Mr Harries pretended to pour oil over troubled waters, but I was convinced he was every bit as bad as Mr Gershfield.

I soon became very clear to me that nothing in that building was legal nor upright

if fact I would go so far as to state without a shadow of a doubt that the building was full of crooks.

I told my family of my doubts and my father said better the dole my girl than that h*ll hole so I left.

I have followed all the postings on this site and on Fraudbug and are not in the least surprised by the contents , these sites were brought to my attention by a friend of mine after she read the history of a Conman.

My friends and family can not believe that these people are still being allowed to run companies and I have to agree.

Still from what I have read to date it seems the law is about to catch up with them all

roll on the day I say, I have deleted this company from my CV and replaced it with traveling a little white lie but one I felt was necessary in the circumstances.

I hope they all go to jail for the misery they have caused to so many people.
