I have a confidential phone number and somehow, the company has obtained the number only weeks after I had it changed again after the number was compromised.  They also had my husband's name and our street address, which can't be just linked to the phone number by coincidence if it wasn't given out by the phone company or the police department (which I doubt). 

The first time, I asked where they got my information and was told the "national database" it goes into every time somoene applies for a refinance, or is making payments on a mortgage that has a high interest rate.  I asked for the name of the database and was told again, "The national database.  For mortgages."  I said, "Oh, so the name of the organization is the "Mortgage National Database?"  She sounded confused, and asked, "What?" 

She tried distraction, asking if I wasn't paying a higher interest rate than 3.5.  I asked again, "What is the name of the organization that gave you our confidential law enforcement number?" *click*

No more than an hour later, another call.  The caller ID is 3 numbers made of 0's and 1's.  This time I asked up front as if I was interested, and was given the name Meadowbrook Financial to refinance my home at a low interest rate.  But when I asked again how they got the number, another click.

If this is not a scam, and it's an up front company, why hide behind blocked numbers, and why hang up when someone asks for your company's inormation while they are asking for ours?  Stop stealing confidential informaiton from businesses, please.  And if you aren't stealing it, feel free to share where you get your call list.  Especially the one that includes private and/or confidential numbers.

I am the owner of the company and read this in disgust. Please call me personally at 516 867 3020. This is a Scam and a hoax. Anybody can talk about anybody on the internet. This is a jealous competitor obviously.

Meadowbrook has the following policies in place so something like this did not happen and never will happen. Your Story has allot of holes in it this is why I know it is false. 

1.      

You claim your daughter faxed in documents and a check ? How do you fax over a check ?

2.      

It is illegal or not customary for Mortgage bankers to accept money up front for a purchase or a refinance. You claim you
seen us on line and you faxed over a check ? Who in their right mind would send over $9500.00 upfront to refinance their home ? 

3.      

I checked with the company controller and there was no deposits of $9500.00 from anybody for upfront money in the history
of the company. When the loan is sold to a investor or servicing company is when my company gets paid. NOT UP FRONT.

4.      

 My partner is Ira tannenbaum and has been since we opened our doors. 

5.      

You indicate several times you have been emailing employees of Meadowbrook our IT department ran Your name Karissa and
came up with none of the quotes or emails to the people you claim. 

6.      

My secretary answers the phones at my company and I ran this whole thing by him and he indicates he has never heard
of your name nor your problem. If somebody took a $9500.00 check from me the company would know of my problem or situation.

7.      

You indicate that we have a office in Garden City thats news to me the only office we have is Baldwin. So please give me the addressee to the Garden city location ?

8. 

You indicate you spoke to other associates ? Who did you speak to ? You indicate we dont call you back and then we email you Be Busy with more important clients and we Better start acting like adults instead of children, otherwise you can sue us
because we eat those everyday What does this even mean ? We are not in any lawsuits with anybody. Why would a company even say that about themselves that we get sued every day ? 

9.      

Ok so you sent over a check VIA fax of your entire life savings and all you are doing is writing this post on a BLOG. Why would you not call the office and ask for Ira or Dan. We are the principles of the company.

 Lastly please post your documents to this website for example a cancelled check any documents you received from Meadowbrook.

You indicate you want your money back and to keep the upfront fees we charged ? Which one is it ? Meadowbrook ont take any fees at all upfront and this activity is monitred by the banking departments.

I pride myself in customer servcie and Meadowbrook is growing and gaining market share everyday and this post and the lies asscoaited to it will not stop us. I understand that every client is equally very important and I would not allow a client to be treated like this. Meadowbrook is listed and has a A rating with the Better buiness Bureau. Meadowbrook is monitered by the New York State banking deptartment and has no compliants at all. Meadowbrook holds several licenses through out the country all in good standing.  If anybody has any concerns please feel free to email me at dnicolo@mfmbankers.com or my cell at 516 322 7579. This is a SCAM and a hoax. Meadowbrook is not perfect and I am sure everybody doesnt leave as happy as they came but these are out right lies.

We have no record of a Karissa in Valley Stream applying to this company ever. We have a policy we dont accept any checks from clients what so ever. The receptionist has no record of a Karissa calling to ask for anybody here at all. We pulled every application in last 6 months for a Karissa in Valley Stream and we dont have a record of it at all. This is serious allegations and this wont be taken lightly. Meadowbrook does not advertise for any retial clients on line what so ever.   

I have never spoke to you in my life. I dont know anything about this story. You never sent anybody from Meadowbrook a certified check. Please call the office and speak to Danny about this issue 516 867 3020. My lawyer is contacting this site to find out who this is. If this is your idea to try and hurt us this is not going to happen. This story is not true.
